Competing in the Hawaii Ironman World Championship Triathlon, clearly the most difficult one day sporting event in the world, takes guts, gumption, determination, dedication and focus above everything else. The drive to compete in the world's toughest sport is also behind Mark Moses' success in business.
Mark started his first company at age 19, grew it to 250 branches with 3000 employees before he sold it when he was 26. He then co-founded a mortgage company that reached heights not seen in most companies - #10 on the INC. 500 list of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. and the #1 fastest growing company in Los Angeles. He built the company to 65 offices, 550 people and $1.6 Billion in annual volume before selling it in 2006 just months before the collapse of the U.S. mortgage market.
Mark has completed 9 full distance Ironman Triathlons including the Hawaii Ironman World Championship 3 times. In November of 2011, he won his division at Ironman Arizona qualifying him for his 4th Hawaii Ironman. In 1992, Mark also won the U.S. National Squash Championship.
Today, Mark coaches 26 of North America's top business leaders. He coaches high growth Entrepreneurs, CEO's and companies on how to dramatically grow their businesses, grow their people and elevate their own performance. Mark is also a passionate and energizing keynote speaker at industry conferences and company events. Mark is known for using unconventional strategies for making his point. When he wanted his young company to "think big" he rode into the annual meeting atop an 8,000 pound African elephant. The elephant immediately took root in the company's culture and "thinking big" became second nature.
Mark serves on the Board of the Children's Hospital of Orange County. In his years on the board he has coupled his Ironman passion with raising over $300,000 for the hospital. Mark Moses drives to "make a difference," and he delivers!
